About Scott Figueiredo
Scott has been an artist pretty much from the get go… but his real passion of painting has come on later in life. A car nut, auto enthusiast, gear head and yes even a racer, had to have been spawned by pre birth. A drive around Indianapolis and Watkins Glen while in his mom’s womb secured him of ever wanting to do anything else but love cars! Owner of way too many project cars and trucks to even think of finishing but what can you say it’s a bug with no cure.
His skills as a painter are usually noted as technical in nature and contemporary as a whole. The ability to render a car from scratch or a photo is easily done. Yet Scott loves the classics and especially race cars. Ferrari is the favorite, why else should there be any other but there are. If it’s shiny, curvaceous, racy, and a bright color, you just about have his attention! Using reflection and glares as a basis for most of his art, he attempts to capture the essence of the designer’s original intentions, and portray them in a creative and stylish manner. For many cars there is no better way to expose their design but to pay tribute to their actual lines, and how they contrast in the spectrum of color.

Scott Figueiredo
Each and every painting is a little piece of his heart. Each piece reflects how romantically he feels about the color that drapes the car and how the light shimmers against its skin. You will be proud to spend hours looking at his artwork and lose yourself in the image. His biggest dream is to conjure a memory or a feeling felt when you first saw a car for the very first time. You might wonder all this talk about curves and memories he was talking about a woman… in a way he is, cause for so many of us car enthusiast we feel the drawn to the garage and the raceway like its life itself. Enjoy the memories and share the stories with art that will give enjoyment for generations to come.
